Co:Create is a web3 start-up embracing communities and aiming to bring brands closers to their customers. The platform allows brands to launch their own on-chain loyalty points system (using tokens), encouraging their communities to engage with, and help co-create the brand along the way, and rewarding members through offers and digital collectibles (NFTs). Since this is an API-first product, brands can utilise Co:Create's APIs and loyalty system within their own app, and track and analyse their community statistics through our app.

Over the course of the year, I led design across marketing, brand and product from our initial offering as a white-label loyalty solution for brands, through to an API first, developer led platform. Going from 0 to 1, I designed the app itself alongside the marketing site, social assets and sales materials. Most of the assets shown below reflect the final API offering as the site stands today. Marketing homepage
Our current homepage — providing a high-level intro to Co:Create and our API solutions, answering the what, why and how of our product. Over the year, we grew the site from a single landing page to a 15+ page site, complete with case studies, pages directly targeting specific clients, our own blog and of course, deep dives into product feature groups.
Objective *//
Create a unqiue, but consistent & recognisable brand across product & marketing
Appeal to both web3 native and web2 audiences looking to build tokenised loyalty programs
clearly communicate abstract ideas around web3 loyalty to customers
Case studies
To help communicate our story better to potential clients, we built a page dedicated to showcasing brands that were utilising our platform and APIs. Each study walked customers through what each brand did, the tools (APIs) each used and the results, alongside a quote from the company themselves.
White-label Product experience
Our initial product offering included a white-label 'rewards centre' for brands to plug and play into web3 loyalty. We focused on mobile-first (since most activations were happening at in-person events early on) and kept the product clean and simple to maintain the focus on the brand themselves & to allow their content to be the primary focus.
Loyalty PDF
Many brands were looking to get started with web3 and build their loyalty programs, but weren't sure how to, or what they needed to be successful. To help educate potential clients on loyalty and why web3, we created an interactive website and downloadable loyalty guide PDF. Take a look at the online version here.
brand focused solutions
As we learnt more about who our customers were, we started to craft different narratives around each one. This is our developer focused page, following the same brand identity we'd built elsewhere but shifting to a more technical approach, both in our messaging and illustrations.
Personal
reflection *//
Initially we set out to craft an identity that was dynamic, able to communicate abstract ideas, approachable and design-forward. Over the course of ~9 months, the platform went through many iterations, however we maintained our initial core values and were able to continue iterating and adapting from there. From a design standpoint, the benefits to having built a strong foundation for us to scale from allowed us to continue to move quickly, without sacrificing consistency across both product and marketing, whilst allowing us to maintain our position within the industry.
Launch video
For the product launch announcement, our team partnered with Onda Studios to design and execute a video walking through our current platform offering to highlight its features. With this, we wanted to embrace the community aspect, emphasizing the strength of a superfan to a brand and interoperability between brands.
Co:Create provided my first insight into the start-up (and web3) worlds and are both spaces I quickly fell in love with. The need to move quickly within a start-up, learn and iterate by doing and working across multiple projects and disciplines simultaneously has been a challenge that I've embraced. Within web3, there is so much potential for new design standards to be discovered and evolved that it's exciting to help think through these new problems, understand why the experience is complicated and through the lens of our customers, understand how we can both educate them in this space and abstract the tech and complications where possible. Overall, the best part is still seeing customers respond positively to the product and what you've helped shape, and sharing it with their community because it feels new to them and they're excited by it too.
Impact & outcomes *//
Consistently positive feedback from  partners around our brand identity
The Co:Create brand stood out from competitors & had successfully carved out its own place within web3
High engagement time & Page clicks across the site

Social Assets #1
Social assets were used to help promote and draw more attention to our posts on LindenIn and Twitter, as well as to support the news articles on our blog page and YouTube channel where appropriate.
Social Assets #2
We maintained a modular set of illustrations that we'd utilise for every asset to ensure consistency, creating new illustrations and adding to the toolkit where needed. Our goal was to create excitement and a feeling of kinetic energy that flowed through every visual.
